I partner with leaders at all levels to see new possibilities. Every  coaching relationship is unique. Therefore, I start every engagement with a discovery conversation to learn about your aspirations, goals, and challenges.

I also provide focused sessions to address specific management and leadership challenges.  These sessions generlly run for 6-12 weeks.

Gathering and Interpreting Feedback

We can’t see how other people see us. But that information can be crucial for performance and advancement. We’ll determine what sort of feedback will be most useful and gather information. We’ll look at the feedback together, and decide on at least one area to work on. We’ll develop a plan, strategies, and measures. Through out the process I’ll be there to support your progress.

Every one wishes something was different. But it isn’t easy to change an organization, even when you have positional authority.  We’ll start by understanding what you want to change and why you want to change it. Then, we’ll use my unique Micro Shifts approach to catalzye and support the desired. We’ll map out the overall plan and move at least one specific change forward.

Managing Complexity

The world, markets, and technology are moving too fast to rely on top down control in complex situations. Organizations need responsible and reliable decision making throughout the organization. But you can’t just let go of decisions and hope. We’ll start with an assessment. Based on that, we’ll identify what actions will contribute to an environment where people can step into responsibility, responsibly. We’ll develop a plan and indicators together. Together we’ll achieve measurable progress.

Excellent professional skills are what get people promoted into management. But they often aren’t the skills that help people succeed in management roles. It isn’t an easy transition. Corporate training can help, but mentoring and coaching can make the transition smoother and more rewarding.
